What happens on the initial clean?
The initial clean always takes longer than subsequent cleans, even for those clients who have used a cleaning company before and are looking to change from one company to another. This is because not all companies clean the same way and provide the same service. Therefore, to ensure we are consistent, we allocate a longer time for the first clean which is provided at an hourly rate as it is difficult to give an exact timescale, although we will provide you with an estimated duration. During this clean, based on the size of the property, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, common rooms, pets, etc., and taking into account any feedback from the cleaners, we are then able to calculate the rate for a regular service. This will be confirmed after the initial clean and a proposal sent via your client portal.
